    We are the Madrid Hub of Helvetia Baloise Group, delivering high-quality services to Group Functions and Market Units. ​At the same time, we are a vibrant Madrid-based team, driven by a dynamic culture, from people with diverse backgrounds, and a genuine spirit of teamwork.

    Where we come from​

    2023 Helvetia Group Asset Management launched the vision of a nearshore team in Madrid with the ambition of opening 21 positions. Active Reinsurance joined shortly after, laying the foundation for growth.​

    Significant Growth in 2 years​

    2025 the Madrid Hub celebrated it's 2nd birthday growing up to 49 colleagues from Group Asset Management, Group IT, Active Reinsurance and Specialty Lines, supporting Helvetia's strategic ambitions.​

    Next Milestone achieved in January 2026

    On January 1, 2026, Helvetia Insurance International Services SA (HIIS SA) was established and the Madrid Hub transferred into an independent legal entity, directly linked to Helvetia Holding AG. This enables the Hub to become a scalable platform for shared services and positions it as an attractive employer for international talent.
